Where 6" sits on the EN scale
EN ISO 21420 sizes are one inch of circumference apart, so a 6-inch hand is exactly size 6: the table’s 152 mm reference with a typical length of 160 mm.
Size 6 is XS on unisex lines and S on women’s lines, which are cut a letter smaller for the same hand.
6" × 25.4 = 152 mm round flat width ≈ 152 ÷ 2.42 = 63 mm (men)
Sport, ride and winter
Goalkeeper gloves add an inch: 6" rounds to 6 and becomes size 7 (Reusch’s half-size chart: 6). Alpinestars’ men’s chart puts 15.2 cm at S. Hestra winter gloves are a 6 bare, 6 over a 1 mm liner.
For boxing, 6" falls in Rival’s 12 oz hand band (90–120 lb), but glove weight is chosen by bodyweight and use first; the hand only says how the cuff fits.
Kids’ sizes near 6" (Reusch): 5.5 for ages 9–10, 6 for ages 10–12, 6.5 for ages 12–14.
